The R&S®ACCESSNET™-T MMP-500 Multi-Messaging Portal portal for R&S®ACCESSNET™-T offers an innovative platform for using public, organization-specific, or company-specific database, e-mail, or fax applications. These applications are mapped to services based on TETRA short data services (SDS). With the R&S®ACCESSNET™-T MMP-500 Multi-Messaging Portal, mobile users can read e-mails or perform database queries with their TETRA terminal (without needing additional peripherals (notebook, etc) and can thus participate in inhouse e-mail exchanges or closed communications groups. With R&S®ACCESSNET™-T, professional mobile radio users now have mobile access to data applications and message services of the Internet, an intranet or even GSM-based mobile radio networks.
The R&S®ACCESSNET™-T MMP-500 is primarily based on the realtime TETRA SDS services, i.e. it operates without any delay. If TETRA subscribers are not available, messages and data are stored and delivered at a later date when the subscribers are again available.
The R&S®ACCESSNET™-T MMP-500 scope of performance and services is flexible, scalable to application requirements, and can be seamlessly integrated into the reliable R&S®ACCESSNET™-T system environment. Access-saving and access-controlling mechanisms can be integrated according to customer-specific requirements.
